Manu Bedoya

Manuela Bedoya (Manu) (she/her) discovered yoga in 2014 while living in Medellin, Colombia. Her mental health was struggling in high school until she found the path of yoga to heal from trauma. She slowly started getting better at the yoga practice. Finally, her mental health improved rapidly because of the yoga practice. She found a sense of belonging in a community with values and morals that made her have an easier healing process from trauma. Manu went to India, Rishikesh to complete her 200 Yoga Teacher Training in June of 2017, at the Sivananda Vedanta international institute.

She now teaches yoga in two languages and three class formats, such as Hot River Flow, Warm River Flow, and Yin. Her professional journey continues to grow seeking to complete her 300 YTT in India next year. Manu's yoga practice focuses on range in motion, strength, flexibility, and calming the mind. Her classes are mostly focused on Vinyasa and Hatha flow, and exploring organic and free movements are expected.

Outside of the studio, you can find Manu helping minorities that are in communities with low and limited access to privileges most people have. She loves to travel, volunteer, and grow her community. Originally from Colombia and has lived in different places, now she enjoys the mountains and the city of Denver.
