Bre Taylor

Breanna Taylor (she/her) discovered yoga in 2007 after a college rowing injury in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Yoga showed her how to be present in her body to process stress, build strength, structure, and self-awareness. In 2018, after committing to teaching yoga full-time she visited The River Yoga while trying out 15 different studios between Denver + Boulder and fell in love. That's when she set her sights on moving to Denver, teaching at the River, and being a part of the incredible community here.

Bre completed her 200Hr Yoga Teacher Training in June of 2014 at Yogapata in Wilton, Ct. She now teaches four different class formats at the River, such as Hot River Flow, Warm River Inversions, River Flow, and Yin. Her professional teaching journey continues as she has trained with Mitchel & Tracy Bleier, Basil Jones, Donna Jackson, Travis Eliot, and Kassandra Reinhardt. She has taught over 5000+ hours of classes, workshops, and trainings throughout the United States.

Bre’s approach to yoga remains ever focused on intentional movement for mindfulness, nervous system regulation, self-awareness, and growth. Her classes focus on refining our movement patterns to engage with each posture for presence, and you can expect to explore alignment, strength, breathwork, finding your flow state, and arm balances.

Outside of the studio you can find Bre traveling between East Coast + West Coast with her partner, Tony and exploring hikes, retreat destinations, and playing with tarot/oracle cards . She loves to dance, try new things, travel, and find a body of water to lay by/within. Originally a Connective native, she loves the Colorado outdoors and takes every opportunity she can to find a hike, lay in the sun, and discover new hidden gems.
