Christa Holland
Crista's yoga journey began in high school, but truly took off when she attended Yoga on The Rocks with The River. Practicing yoga outdoors - surrounded by nature and the Rocky Mountains, giving a pathway to movement alongside a sense of community that she had never experienced before. From there, she fell in love with yoga and its ability to help connect the body, breath, and mind.
Cirsta started her teaching journey by completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training at The River Yoga in Denver in 2019. This training gave a solid foundation in Vinyasa yoga, alignment principles, and teaching methodology. In 2020, Crista completed a Deep Stretch Meditation training, which has allowed her to incorporate a more restorative and meditative element into my classes. Additionally, She continues to attend workshops and training to deepen her understanding of yoga and expand her teaching skills.
In Crista's flow classes, you can expect a fluid and dynamic Vinyasa flow that is sequenced to music. Students are encouraged to connect with their breath, move mindfully, and find their own unique expression in each pose. In Deep Stretch Meditation classes, Crista allows students to release tension and find stillness in their bodies and minds. Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, Crista's classes provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your practice and connect with your inner self.
When she’s not teaching yoga, you can find her enjoying live music, exploring the outdoors, reading books, and spending time with her family and friends. She believes that a balanced life is key to overall wellness, and strives to live life in a way that supports her physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. What makes her unique as a teacher is her ability to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere while encouraging her students to challenge themselves and grow in their practice. She believes that yoga is for everyone, and is passionate about helping her students discover the transformative power of this ancient practice.
