Kristin Dixon

Kristin Dixon (she/her) went to her first yoga class in 2016 in her hometown of Orlando, FL. She stumbled upon a charming studio in her local community where she quickly fell in love with the practice. She found that coming to her mat offered space for her to move, breathe and release in a way that felt safe within her body for the first time in her life.

Yoga became a deeply personal practice for her and it transformed the relationship she had with herself in ways she would’ve never imagined. When she relocated to Denver in 2020, she was in search of community and came across the River, which became her second home. She completed her 200hr YTT at the River in May 2023 and started working as a Studio Assistant shortly after.

She now teaches a variety of class formats and is passionate about sharing her gifts and creating a safe space where others can show up authentically as they are. Kristin brings a cosmic magnetism from her soul connection to the universe and challenges students to strengthen their connections with themselves through mindful breathwork, playful sequencing and fun playlists that bring students back into their bodies.

She shares gentle reminders throughout class to turn inward and believes that we have the ability to be our greatest teacher when we come into the present moment and allow for curiosity, fluidity, and letting go of what doesn’t serve us.Off her mat, you can find Kristin hiking in the warmer months with her dog Max. She loves snowboarding, shows, festivals, traveling, cooking and reading in her free time.
